astroscape

Around the turn of the century, I wrote a Windows app called Starbits for creating star fields, galaxies and nebulae. I called the next generation of the program Astroscape. However, that’s when I dove headlong into 2D and 3D work for an LA-based video game studio, Pantera Entertainment. Only the Astroscape Star Designer was completed, but it made a handy supplement for Starbits, creating stars and lens flares that could be copied and pasted into the larger program.

I maintain the astroscape.com domain name—mostly because I can’t give up my chris at astroscape email address. Now it points to this blog.

The gunblade is one of a few hundred things I designed and built during my time freelancing for the game studio.
